Our Story

It started in a small studio. It never stayed small. Over a decade ago, Kinini began with custom pieces made one at a time; for people who wanted something better than what the market was offering. That care didn't get left behind as we grew. It's the reason hundreds of customers keep coming back, season after season.

Today, Kinini turns African prints into contemporary fashion made for the all-round life; the corporate workday, the celebration, a regular Tuesday coffee shop run, aj ordinary Sunday brunch worth showing up for & more. We don't treat these prints as something reserved for weddings and holidays. We treat them as everyday fashion, crafted to a standard that holds its own anywhere in the world.

We dress young African women who've made us part of their rotation, a fast-growing community of men, and Kenyans and Africans across the diaspora looking for clothing that carries home with it.
